Have you tried using Otocinclus Algae Eater/Midget Suckermouth Catfish (Otocinclus affinis)? They are supposed to like brown algae.
Ooh! :) They look good! just googled them and i think i had some in my goldfish tank! they are loads of fun. This long weekend we are gonig to make a trip out to the LFS and ill make sure that Otto cats are on the top of my shopping list!
