Trying to plant and resubtrate aquatic plants in a tank that you can't actually touch the bottom can be very frustrating.
Amano uses surgical tools which are expensive, which i cant afford so ive come up with 2 home made tools. Using 2 bamboo stakes, I have made a prong, and a spade.
I can use the prong grab the base of a plant. use the bamboo stick to push it into the soil then with the spade hold the plant down as i pull the prong away!
i also use it to move plants around. Groovy huh? Neccessity is the mother of invention
